Meet our founder
Matthew Harper is the founder and Managing Director of Resilient Results.
For almost 30 years, Matthew has worked professionally in emergency and crisis management roles including time with Airservices Australia, Emergency Management Australia, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, ACT Emergency Services Agency, NSW Office for Emergency Management, Blue Mountains City Council and the NSW Rural Fire Service.
Matthew has led planning and exercising activities across multiple governments, within departments and organisations and for individual business. He has worked extensively across Australia and the Asia-Pacific in emergency, crisis and business continuity management as a program manager and leader, facilitator and exercise manager; developing plans and helping organisations to transfer these plans into operation.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Administrative Leadership, Associate Diploma of Disaster Management and an Associate Diploma of Engineering (Electrical).
Matthew was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2005 as a result of his work to devise and develop the Sydney CBD Evacuation Plan. As a Churchill Fellow, Matthew has travelled extensively to talk on emergency planning and developing realistic and challenging exercises
