The Australian Airports Association has commissioned Resilient Results to undertake a review and redraft of APN 1- Developing a rural and regional aerodrome emergency plan and APN 2 – Airport Emergency Planning in Australia.
The first stage of the review is a survey of APN users, emergency management agencies and interested parties to identify how the existing document is used and determine the most useful way forward.
A second stage of consultation will occur at the AAA 2019 National Conference to be held on the Gold Coast in November 2019. Second stage consultation will allow emergency managers and planners to give final comments before the documents are finalised
